Trish Douglas grew up in Georgetown, TX where she was a member of the GHS choral department. After graduation, Trish attended Southwest Texas State University where she attained a Bachelors Degree in Choral Music Education. This year marks Trish Douglas’ 25th year of teaching grades PK - 12. She began her career in Cy-Fair ISD but quickly returned home to Georgetown to start her family. Trish led choirs at GHS from 1996-2002 where her groups received consistent “Sweepstakes” at the UIL Concert and Sightreading contests and even performed at Carnegie Hall! She then instructed at Williams, Village, and Mitchell Elementary before returning to high school at the Ninth Grade Campus in 2009. Mrs. Douglas looks forward to continuing the tradition of excellence of the GISD choral programs at East View High School. Her love of teaching and her level of enthusiasm keeps her going strong! Trish resides in Georgetown and is blessed with her loving husband, Nathan, and two children, Noah and Maddie.
Morgan Kramer is a recent graduate of The University of Texas at Austin where he received his Master of Music degree in choral conducting. In addition to his role as the Assistant Choir Director at East View High School, he serves as the Director of Music at University Christian Church and Assistant Director of vox peregrini – a pilgrimage choir that hikes and performs throughout Ireland. In addition, Morgan sings in numerous choral ensembles in Austin including Ensemble VIII, the Texas Early Music Project, and Panoramic Voices. A native of Fostoria, Iowa, Morgan is the founder and director of the Clay County Chorale community chorus. He received his undergraduate degree in choral music education from the University of Northern Iowa in 2015 where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the Purple and Old Gold Award – the highest university honor awarded by academic departments.
