A Tribute to Our Veterans is a community event where we honor those who have served our country. Presented by the East View Choral Department in conjunction with EV Band, Drum and Fife Corps, & NJROTC.
Come join us at the Klett Performing Arts Center at Georgetown High School. Students will perform for the community in a moving tribute. Veterans, some wearing uniforms or insignia, will be invited to the stage to share their rank, military branch and where they served. Afterward, veterans will lead the audience down the hall to the dessert and coffee reception.
Started by our director, Mrs. Douglas, long before East View was built, A Jolly Holiday has become as important to the holiday season as the Christmas Stroll.
Headliners include "Glee" our top-tier, audition-only show choir and "Elite" our super-varsity, audition-only competitive choir. Each performance will also feature a rotating cast of students from all five EVHS Choirs. It includes solos and duets as well as massive production numbers.
From Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" to "Elvis" reminding us to "stay off of his Christmas shoes", this show never disappoints. Join us for an evening of singing, dancing, and merriment.

Damn Yankees, the Broadway mega-hit and winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical, hits it out of the park! The winning score by Adler and Ross and a devilish book by George Abbot have made this sporty musical comedy a true American classic.
Middle-aged baseball fanatic Joe Boyd, trades his soul to the Devil, also known as Mr. Applegate, for a chance to lead his favorite team to victory in the pennant race against the New York Yankees. As young baseball sensation, Joe Hardy, he transforms the hapless Washington Senators into a winning team, only to realize the true worth of the life that he's left behind.
Light, fast-paced and devilishly clever, Damn Yankees is a homerun hit, featuring all-American subject matter and an irreverent sense of humor. Join us for this wicked, romantic comedy, sure to please!
